Tom and Jerry Hoodie
The Tom and Jerry Hoodie, which is a well-known piece featuring characters from the animated series Tom and Jerry, is very popular. It's a practical, comfortable piece of clothing that can make you feel good and is a wonderful present to someone you cherish.

Hanna-Barbera produced the American animated short film series Tom and Jerry from 1940 until 1958. It was among the most popular and top-grossing animated films ever. It won seven Academy Awards for Best Animated Short Film.


In addition to the first the 114 Tom and Jerry shorts, there were further Tom and Jerry cartoons produced by Gene Deitch between 1961 and 1962, in addition to 34 more Tom and Jerry shorts by Chuck Jones and Sib Tower 12 Productions from 1963 to 1967. The cartoons were influenced by Deitch's work, but they had a more psychedelic and more edgy look.


Cartoons like these often show Tom trying to capture Jerry, or an animal, or making fun of him by throwing traps. Sometimes, Tom may actually catch Jerry eventually, but the majority of times, he falls, since they're very powerful mice.


While cats often chase mice to eat them as pets, Tom and Jerry cartoons do not follow this formula. Instead, they harass and fight with each other in order to get out of the trap, but more often to earn a reward (such as from their master/owner) for catching their rival.


The characters of Tom and Jerry were originally dubbed, however, they're now recorded by Richard Kind and Dana Hill. Voice actors are capable of using facial expressions of the characters and body language when they speak.


In the US Most of the Tom and Jerry shorts have been released in Region 1 on DVD. Pink Tom And Jerry Hoodie of the shorts have been modified, re-dubbed and edited using Mammy Two Shoes voices and some have had their faces cut. There are many two-disc sets of Tom and Jerry on DVD that usually comprise several shorts from the Gene Deitch era and Chuck Jones era, though certain are not included due to racial stereotypes.


The majority of shorts are presented in scan and pan. However there are some movies in CinemaScope that have been cut to make them fit on the aspect ratio television screen. Certain shorts are shown in a 16-9 widescreen format, like Tales. However they are usually cut down or shortened.



There are also some Tom and Jerry shorts which have been banned in the UK The Slicked-up Pup cartoon has been reduced, and Busy Buddies, Feedin' the Kiddie and The Egg and Jerry are completely removed from the air. There are blackface jokes in some of the cartoons of Tom and Jerry from Britain however this isn't an everyday practice since some blackface cartoons aren't edited.
