When I was growing up, I went Nannie J. Lee, and it was a great experience. Mr smith, One of the staff members there became my mentor, and Id love to become a mentor to someone else. I actually volunteered there over Spring Break last year, I had a great experience working with the campers including the Therapeutic Rec participants.
My strengths- I get along with everyone which is important in this setting because I will need to get along with the campers and my peers. Another strength is I take direction well, Which is important as I will be learning this role
My weakness- one thing I can work on is when I get nervous sometimes but it’s because I want to make sure I’m doing a good job. If I get to be at Nannie j Lee it will help with my nerves because I’ll be familiar with most of the staff and the environment.
Tell me about yourself- I graduate HS on June 4th and I’m excited to start classes at nova in the fall. when I was younger my mother passed away so I currently live with my grandfather. One of the things that helped when she passed was going to Nannie j Lee in the summers as I was growing up. I would like this position to gain some more work experience in the place that means a lot to me.
Where do I see myself in 5 years. I see myself as a hard working man taking care of my family.

2-when would I be able to start if accepted
Types of activities- there were always sports activities I use to play such as basketball and matball. the miracle field was also a fun place to play games such as tag, and kickball. We could ways do arts and crafts as well but It would also be important to consider the age and abilities for the campers when planning activities.
