Having a hydration bladder on board is certainly an excellent idea, since it lets you refill your water bottle without needing to depend on anyone other than yourself, and also prevents the weight of the backpack prevents the contents from being squeezed out of your bottle. It is also possible to charge your smartphone and tablet by using the USB ports in the water filtration system.
