The Honor Among Thieves Secret Lair Drop includes stunning images of the characters performed by Chris Pine (Edgin the Bard), Michelle Rodriguez (Holga the Barbarian) and Rege-Jean Page (Xenk The Paladin), Justice Smith (Simon the Sorcerer), Sophia Lillis (Doric the Druid) and Hugh Grant (Fitzwilliam the Rogue). The cards feature special features, including that they will be releasing double-sided cards featuring Doric's as she appears in her favorite owlbear appearance on one side. Both the regular and foil editions are available for purchase right now.
At the press conference for the set Sarra Scherb who is a Copywriter at Wizards of the Coast, said that she directed an hour-long session with the directors and cast of the film, minus Grant prior to the beginning of filming. According to Scherb, the naming of Edgin's card as the Larcenous Lutenist was among her favorite parts of making the sets. However, they noted Smith's enthusiasm for the game -- which resulted in him memorizing his spell list and rolling out his sheet of characters well in advance of meeting with Scherb for the one-shot -- was creating Simon, Wild Magic Sorcerer their most-loved part of creating the Secret Lair Drop.

Smith has previously expressed his enthusiasm for the film in a discussion about how he integrated ASL for casting spells into the D&D film. "I perform a lot of spellcasting in the film and I worked with a wonderful choreographer create unique gestures for each spell. Also, I have a little knowledge of sign language, so I try to incorporate that [into] the spell," Smith explained. "Whatever the spell says, I try to incorporate the word that I know in sign language into the gesture of this spell. It's not for every gesture." The actor said that a part of his decision was due to an aversion to magic casting in films where an actor seemingly gestures with no intention.



Rodriguez was also in the character of the film recently speaking out about the difficulties she faced in losing muscle mass as she bulked up to play as a Barbarian. Along with weight training, Rodriguez also grew out her armpit hair. "I have grown out all of my armpit hair, so that's real, it's not glued on. So I really felt the difference, and I gained fifteen pounds in muscle mass," she added. "I'm still having Watch Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves losing that muscle. I've been forced to add a different dimension to the size of my clothes."
