Big Mouth is a Netflix original series that follows best friends Nick Birch (Nick Kroll) and Andrew Glouberman (John Mulaney) as they navigate the perilous landscape of adolescence. This cartoon, which was created by Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg and Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett is a satirical take on pop culture and presents a hilarious and honest view of life during the precarious years between puberty, sexuality, and adulthood.
Big Mouth's characters have many issues to face, including anxiety bugs, hormone monsters, and all the rest. These characters are a slapstick representation of the most awkward moments teenagers experience, which allows the audience to relate to the show's message.
Big Mouth uses live acting to develop its characters. It is not like other animated shows that rely on animation to keep their protagonists still throughout the series. This approach has allowed the series to tackle issues that might otherwise be relegated to the backburner, such as gay class schmoozer Matthew's flimsy attempt at sexual intimacy or Ali Wong's sexy Ravenclaw avatar.
The show has a reputation for including a wide variety jokes, even the most obscure. For example, in Season 3, a new character named Ali (Ali Wong) makes her debut as a pansexual seventh-grader who is able to attract the attention of her classmates without being portrayed as a cheap or inappropriate joke.
This is one of many things that make Big Mouth stand apart from other shows focusing on adolescence. big mouth merch 's a clever and entertaining show that avoids stereotypical stereotypes. This is a welcome change from more generic adult comedy.
It doesn't hurt either that the series features voice actors who are all performing the voice-acting work at the top of their professions. Jordan Peele, Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas and Maya Rudolph are among the others.
This animated series is not only the best on TV, but also has the most colorful characters. This series is filled with memorable and humorous characters. It's not surprising that this show won numerous awards and was included on Netflix's Top 100 Shows.
