King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard Merch
King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard have a reputation for being among the most enjoyable and entertaining live acts in the world. They have a large and enthusiastic global fan base, and they have a track record of writing one of the most creative and psychedelic songs in rock history. They have a total of 20 studio albums, two compilations as well as three EPs.


If you've been following Mind Fuzz since its inception and you're likely to discover that their style hasn't changed much through the years. They're still awash with their fun grooves and psychedelic twang but they've also gained a thriving fan base by performing in a variety of genres and putting on lively live performances.


They've created "fun" back to the sometimes sombre indie-rock scene however, they have managed to keep the music fresh. While some of their songs could be too ponderous, or abstract, they're always engaging, and Stu McKenzie and his group of prodigies with frizzy hair are adept at keeping the party going onstage.


In the past two years they've recorded five albums, including the critically acclaimed double-LP released last year. The Carlton Dry Global Music Grant they received in 2013 enabled them to tour in the United States for the first time. This tour marked a pivotal moment for the band as they began to expand their quirky brand of psychedelic rock onto the world stage.


They've been writing music since their inception, but the music is typically limited to live shows. Stu Mackenzie who is a part of the group, informs me that this is where their artistic energies are. The singer is calling from Seattle, where they are performing a long and tiring tour through October.


Mackenzie and the rest of the crew comprising guitarists Cook Craig and Joey Walker and bassist Lucas Harwood and drummer Michael Cavanagh Have plenty of work to do in recent times, but they've never lost their hilarious spirit. They've also gotten better in their ability to deliver a memorable performance even in venues that are packed.


Ice Death, a vinyl-only release, was the perfect basis for Laminated's new chapter. The album was initially designed to be an intermission piece for the marathon Red Rocks shows, it was released in March. kinggizzardandthelizardwizardmerch included a pair of 15-minute motorik tracks that sped around at 60 beats per minute metronomic beat.



This tempo was ideal for two jams featuring the deepest grooves and most wicked guitar licks such as "The Land Before Timeland" and "Hypertension." Laminated Denim is a collaborative version of "two 15-minute songs" along with some extra electronic music.


It's impossible to listen to these songs without getting overwhelmed. They're songs that you'll want to play for hours and hours.


They've also been more prolific throughout the years they release at minimum one new album each year. The band has a large fan following in their homeland and they've earned themselves a reputation for expanding the boundaries of modern rock, while keeping their psychedelic style intact.
