Could There Be Life After Death?
Two family members -- my daughter and my father-in-law -- died on the same weekend. My father-in-law was 98 1/2 years old and his death was expected. But my daughter's untimely death at age 45 knocked me to my knees. Never in my life have I cried so hard and so long.

Often the death card is a spiritual one. It draws attention to an inner battle, or an external situation that requires us to grow and mature in our spiritual selves. Lessons need to be learnt. The death card gives us permission to learn them and offers us an opportunity to undergo a process of letting go mixed with greater inner comprehension. Grief is vital, as it brings us closer to understanding ourselves and to what we want and do not want in our inner and outer worlds.

Who wouldn't know the father of psychology? Sigmund Freud died at the age of 83 from cancer of the jaw. He was the founder of the first psychoanalytic school of psychiatry. He was also a neurologist.

Death is a mystery. More mysterious is the question where do the dead go? Is there a life after death? What do us, living humans know about death? Is there such a place where life goes on after death in a totally different realm? Death is the end of a physical, material existence. There is a popular belief that at death, the dying person sees a playback of his /her life - success, failure, mistakes, relationships, a total sum of what their life was all about.



Ego. It has "Edged God Out," as someone once put it. As a consequence, humans have little or no sense of felt oneness with Transcendence--the very thing all spiritual traditions seek to restore.

funeral serve two main purposes: to commemorate the life of the deceased, and to offer mourners a chance to gather together and say their final goodbyes. funeral are NOT places to network, party until you puke or pick up a cute date - although unfortunately all three happen from time to time.


Self-diagnosis is tantamount to no diagnosis. But for what it is worth, pain from kidney stone problems is very intense it can induce vomiting and it radiates from one specific point of the stomach.

Looking at the pillars of the day of demise, you can safely conclude that the heart attack was caused by a serious lack of Fire. In her case, she only needs Fire to tide her through. But sometimes, believe it or not, certain things in life are predestined. It saddens me that I am unable to help her. Perhaps if I had analyzed her pillars earlier, I might have been able to help her.
