Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva arose in Moscow on the 3rd of July 1986. She graduated with a Masters Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations after studying in London. Leyla created the IDEA campaign in July of 2011 to raise awareness and encourage actions on environmental issues in Azerbaijan as well as elsewhere. IDEA is focused on children and young people, and work together to find solutions for the environmental challenges that we face.
In May 2007, she was appointed as the representative for the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the Russian Federation. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes to the development of the economy and society of the country by conducting a range of projects that span education as well as public health, sports, culture, science, technology and the environment. She was elected Vice President in 2011.

With the help of Conde Nast in London, the English-language edition of the magazine was released in October of 2011. This magazine offers a chance to explore the arts, culture, and Azerbaijan. Leyla Alyeva launched "Justice for Khojaly" The campaign was launched by Leyla Alyeva to commemorate the anniversary the Shusha occupation. The campaign is being executed in more than 30 countries. The campaign aims to increase international awareness about the Karabakh conflict, and the Khojaly Genocide. It is specifically focused on reaching out via online media, live events.

Leyla Aliyeva, the General Coordinator of OIC's Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue became the Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia AMOR. Leyla Aliyeva (UN Food and Agriculture Organization) was appointed Goodwill Ambassador on May 25, 2015.
