The alchemist raises his eyes fearfully. Their eyes lock, and the alchemist stretches out a trembling hand. Death grasps his hand and sighs as she looks skywards. His face turns ashen, and he shudders before growing rigid. The hand Death holds slowly crumbles to ash and slips through her emaciated fingers. A heap of ashes lies at Death's feet, and some of the ashes are carried off in the wind.

I talked to them and ask them what they did to once again live their life. Because of them, I realized that when someone you love died, you don't have to end your life, but rather, continue to enjoy life even if that someone is no longer with you.

In spite of their efforts, many states still have a death penalty on the books. Because of the political firestorm, however, very few states actually execute anyone, which gives death penalty opponents another piece of ammunition-the "cost" of executions. Those states that actually do execute people, most notably Texas and other southern states, get crucified in the media and pop culture as "barbaric".

Those who choose to come back here, never fear death again. They even look forward with pleasant anticipation to their death in the course of the natural way.

What I meant by "nothing can satisfy flesh like death" is nothing can release those pleasure endorphins faster and in greater amounts than activities related to death. Being in a "risky" relationship, bungee-jumping over concrete or racing down a public highway can trigger an adrenaline rush far greater than reading a book about such activities. The satisfaction of biting into a fresh, crisp apple pales in comparison to the smooth sensation of a nicotine rush to a smoker. An indulgent "Thanksgiving" size dinner full of empty calories is so pleasurable it can leave partakers with grins for almost an hour after the feast. But the blissful utopian state an addict enters when he injects his preferred drug leaves him unresponsive to the point of near comatose for half a day.




Think about what other options you have. Aside from sprays, you can always order bouquets, live plants and wreaths to be sent during the viewing or for the funeral service.

Create a memorial poster. Gather photos and documents that bring back fond memories of your loved one and put them together in a collage to show family and friends at the service. Funeral design specialists can also help with this.

Sometimes an older person will purchase coverage for themselves. Other times, adult children or other relatives will pay for the policy as a way to plan for burial costs.
