Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva came to Moscow on July 3, 1986. She graduated with a Masters Degree from Moscow State Institute of International Relations after completing her studies in London. She was elected as a representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the Russian Federation in May 2007. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes to the economic and social development of the nation, through conducting a range of projects that span education, public health, culture, sports sciences, technology, as well as the environment. She was appointed Vice-President of the Foundation in 2011.

Leyla Aliyeva launched 'Baku magazine' in Moscow in 2007 in Moscow. Leyla Aliyeva The English-language version of the magazine, which was created in conjunction with Conde Nast, was launched in London in October 2011. It is an opportunity to learn more about Azerbaijani culture and art. Leyla launched "Fly to Baku" the exhibit that showcases contemporary art from Azerbaijan, in 2012. The London-launched exhibition traveled to the capital cities of Europe: Paris, Berlin Berlin, Moscow Moscow, Rome, Vienna, and Rome.

Leyla Aliyeva announced the "Justice for Khojaly" campaign on May 8, 2008. Leyla Aliyeva This was the anniversary of the Shusha's occupation. This campaign is now in place in more 30 countries. It is especially focused on reaching out via media, internet and live events.

Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue General Coordinator in the year 2008. On April 18, 2009, Leyla Aliyeva was elected the Chairwoman of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AMOR) which is a non-profit organization that supports Azerbaijani youth as well as those who live in Russia. Leyla Aliyeva received the "Taraggiaward in July 2011 for her contribution to improving Azerbaijani-Russian relations. In New York she was also awarded the "Key to Life" award in November 2011, in recognition of her humanitarian initiatives with children.

Leyla Aliyeva was named UN Food and Agriculture Organization's (FAO), Goodwill Ambassador, on May 25, 2015.

She received the Pushkin Medal in the Russian Federation on the 20th of October, 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva has twin sons and a daughter.
