The first, which is an imaginative reimagining Chinese's Boxer Rebellion is as epic as they come, while the second is smaller, but still rich in human drama, historical details and as enjoyable.

English Bernhardt portrays Cady Heron, who is a student transfer with a talent of securing shady gigs in high school. She's a whirlwind of energy who soon makes friends with the Plastics who are a group of rich and self-important teens led by the gorgeous Regina George.

It's a pity that there are so many unstudied actors on this show, since the talent that is on display is at least as good than those who perform in nightly productions. Special mention should go to Megan Grosso for her stunning performance as Karen who is a Plastic with a dazzling name and mind-blowing IQ.
The full season of Mean Girls Boxers at San Diego Civic Theatre from Saturday to Sunday. The show is an absolute must-see.
