A new platform offers music theory lessons through DAW-based challenges. It's quite different from what you would expect from a course or textbook, but it's still very effective and extremely fun.
The basic idea is that you get access to a comprehensive music production course, with hundreds of exercises and lessons. The lessons are concise and logical with plenty of information about each topic. To get started, you don't have to install additional software. These courses are affordable and provide a great way for musicians to get started without needing to spend a lot on music theory textbooks.
The drums are the foundation of electronic music and are covered in the first few lessons. Although the course is short, it gave me a good understanding of the underlying structure behind drums and how to use them in my DAW. This will allow me to move on to the next section of the course which is primarily for music producers.
