How to wear a Captain America Mask
This Captain America mask is the ideal way to portray your favourite Marvel heroes. The mask is comfortable enough to wear at comic conventions, Halloween and theme-themed parties. THE SHIELD


The shield is an essential aspect of the Captain America character and was one of the first weapons that he was given in his debut. It's an offensive weapon, however it also can be used to throw, dodge or even retrieved. In the comics, Rogers was given a triangular shield. But it evolved into a disc-shaped shield that was given to the president by Franklin Roosevelt as a gift.



It is used by Captain America to fight Hydra in comics. The shield can withstand the energy weapons that Hydra uses, but it is also thrown and blocked by Rogers with precision.


Captain America uses it to rescue Barnes from Hydra's Red Skull prisoner. The Red Skull is a Hydra agent who has an appearance resembling a skull. This has earned him the sobriquet "the Red Skull."


In Marvel manga stories in particular, the character is shown using a photonic sword prior dying. The bodyguards of Captain America wear shields made of metal as well. It is an integral element of Captain America's character , and is crucial to the flow of the story.


The shield was damaged by the Serpent in Fear Itself #5 (October 2011). The shield was later rescued from the remains of an ancient city in Thunderbolts #105 by Baron Zemo's Masters of Evil. superhero capes was then restored to Captain America at Avengers Mansion.


The second variant of the shield appeared in the 2003-2004 crossover Marvel/DC series JLA/Avengers. It was used by Superman, Thor, and other characters. The shield is valuable for both heroes and is powerful enough to penetrate armored foes in comics.


In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain America is also using his shield during a fight against Loki in The Avengers (2012), protecting him from an energy blast from his Mind Stone-powered scepter and also from Thor's Hammer Mjolnir. It's also used in the fight with Chitauri during the MCU films, in which it was used to protect Stark and shield the character from the hammers of their.
