How to Make a Custom Photo Keychain

Acetate or foil acetate
If you're using acetate for the backing of your keychain, you'll want to press your text onto it before you glue it together. This will prevent the faux leather from absorbing too much glue, which can cause it to bubble.

Set up a work surface that's free of lint and dust. Cover the surface with a piece of scratch paper to protect it from the glue.

Once you have the material ready, load the mylar shapes mat and the faux leather mat in Cricut Design Space. When the mats are loaded, click MAKE IT.

Next, use the grey photo template to cut TWO shapes from each of the mylar and faux leather sheets. This will help ensure that you're getting all the pieces for your keychain, and that you have a clean edge on each side when you fold them together.
