SPORTS INJURY EVALUATION AND TREATMENT
A thorough assessment of the injury is necessary to understand what is going on and to properly develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your injury. Treatment usually includes a combination of:
- Myofascial release technique (MRT)
- Adjustments
- Acupuncture
- Instrument assisted soft tissue
- Rehab exercises and stretches
INJURY PREVENTION
Assessments do not have to start after an injury has occurred. Being Dr Ostrander and getting assessed before an injury can prevent future injury. Dr. Taylor can assess the movement patterns of an athlete, and will tailor treatment and rehab to those faulty movement patterns to prevent injury.
SIDE LINE MEDICAL COVERAGE
As a sports chiropractor Dr. Taylor is a certified Red Cross First Responder and has completed over 1000 hours of on- field medical treatment to a variety of sports including Taekwondo, soccer, rugby and hockey. Please contact me if you are looking for side line medical coverage for your team.
