"For one will scarcely die for a righteous person - though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die - but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:7-8). One of the biggest questions there is to ask is, why does God love us? To answer that you need to understand God's character and your unworthiness. God loves us because He loves us. We don't deserve His love nor could we ever earn it. We are so unworthy that we are not even worth the dirt. God killed Uzzah for trying to protect the ark from falling but God wasn't worried about the ark falling to the ground. He didn't want man to touch the ark (1 Chronicles 13:9-10).

The first lesson we need to learn, we (God's children) do not face death, alone. We did not come into this world alone, and we do not leave it alone. When an heir of God completes this metamorphous and departs this earthly kingdom for the heavenly one, there is a flutter of angelic activity surrounding that soul like never before. Those beings who have been given the custodial care over us for all the years we live on this earth - now with tenderness - ever so carefully deposit their charge into the protective care of another group of angelic beings called The Chariots of Israel. They are the angels who are charged with the mission of safely moving us from this realm to that other we often refer to as Heaven.

When sending flowers, there are two places to consider. The first is the funeral home or church where the service will take place. The flowers you send here will be on display at the viewing and/or funeral. The family member(s) that you send the flowers to will then have a chance to bring them home after the service. The second place to send flowers is the home residence of the family, whomever you are closest with that is related to the deceased. This could be a son, a mother, a husband, a niece, etc. Some prefer this method if they did not know the deceased person well but they wish to show their sympathy to the family member that they are friends, neighbors, or coworkers with.

People are unsure of what death really is. They believe no one knows what happens after death. Not understanding what comes after death scares them. Do we fade off into nothingness or do we live on in another form? They are unsure whether they did everything right to merit an afterlife. Which brings us to the next reason we fear death.


I talked to them and ask them what they did to once again live their life. Because of them, I realized that when someone you love died, you don't have to end your life, but rather, continue to enjoy life even if that someone is no longer with you.

Avoid bright colors; stay muted. If you don't own anything black, there's no need to panic. Many families will not be offended if you have to wear dark blue or gray. Even neutral tones are acceptable funeral etiquette. Just make certain to avoid any bright colors to the funeral. This takes attention away from the family and the deceased, which is disrespectful.



What could death teach you? Perhaps how to die to the ego-self and instead live unto your higher self; how to die to clock time and instead live in the timeless now; or, how to die to the life you live and instead live the life you love.
