I think that this program will be able to give me good access to mentors who will have the ability to offer guidance and support among multiple subjects and specialties throughout my learning as well as great, in detail advice and instruction on career-related matters. With Y-Scholars providing things such as study materials, tutoring, and test preparation services throughout the entirety of the program I believe this will be able to help deeply improve my academic performance and achieve my goals for the future. I also hope to make use of the program's extensive networking opportunities while being able to work alongside those in the same field of interest, having that same drive to learn about a specific topic being worked on together and build connections that may be beneficial for me down the road for many different things such as business or community service related connections and opportunities.

Furthermore, seeing as Y-Scholars aims to support the personal development of each of its members with provided windows of opportunity, I would like to use and exploit that opening in order to improve my overall leadership skills and abilities seeing as I will soon need them for many of the things I would want to do in the upcoming years. This, along with the personal development workshops is what I wish to fully make use of.

Overall, I believe that the Y-Scholars program has a lot to offer students who are motivated to succeed academically and professionally. By being provided with mentorship, academic resources, networking opportunities, and personal development support, this program can help me achieve my goals and reach my full potential.
