Every religion and culture has its own way of having a funeral or memorial service. cancer ribbons are filled with candles and prayers and are very serious solemn affairs. The Jewish traditions for funerals are very formal in the rituals that they follow. Buddhist believe that you must burn the dead in a cremation ceremony while the monks chant.
Perhaps there is no other time in our lives when our guardian angels are more active or needed than at the moment of our earthly demise. death, the event we always cloak in a shroud of mystery, and fear, eventually comes to all of us. Hiding from it, never speaking about it, or being ignorant of it, does not help us at all.
I was a huge fan of the whole family and I also enjoyed Ricky Nelson's music in the 70's. I went to a Garden Party sings of his frustration that people didn't want to listen to his music, they only came to see the boyhood TV hero. Ricky died tragically, way too young as well, when a fire on board his plane caused it to go down. The FFA said it was caused by a faulty heater.
The more information you have to start with the easier it is. If you know someone who has knowledge of the person you are looking for then you can find out if someone is dead by simply asking your mutual friend. Knowing where the person lived can narrow your search down considerably and in the unlikely event that you know the persons social security number then finding them should be easy.
cancer ribbons keep memorabilia like athletics, football, swimming or golf trophies. Or they have traveled or led a busy business life and the house or office is full of tchotchkes. cancer ribbons can film or photograph these things and add them to the funeral slideshow.
My brother Dane is in the Philippines now visiting his wife's family. It was hard to get hold of him to tell him the news. He said he already knew it because he had a dream the night before that dad was in heaven surrounded by Mexican's who were thanking him for giving them that gospel tract. (Dad moved on from Cuban's to Mexicans when he and mom moved back to the old home place near Glenwood.) Dad still talked to anyone he met about the Gospel, but he couldn't talk to the increasing number of Mexicans , so he just gave them Gospel tracts. Dad also tried to learn Spanish, but that didn't turn out quite like he wanted it to. I don't think he ever even learned to say hello or goodbye.
So if you have fears of death why not check out what God's word has to say about it. You can draw your own conclusions, and chances are, by the time you're finished you will be finished with your fears of death as well.
