The MagPen's sensor can recognize input gestures like hovering, titling and even pressure changes. The sensor of the MagPen can recognize spinning motion which broadens the scope of input gestures that are recognized by the stylus pen.


With its ability to understand different spin and pressures, the MagPen can select the thickness of lines that are drawn on screens and even switch between a pointer and an eraser. It's a fascinating technology that's sure to catch the interest from both users and designers.


It's not just about the technology either: The pen's style is stylish also. It is made of one aluminum body, and the cap features an edge that is bevelled. This allows you to feel it in your hand as you move it. It provides a very comfortable grip.


The Surface Pen can be stored and carried in a small slim case. It also comes with a handful of apps that can be downloaded through the Store. They're mostly third-party however the ones we tested included Sketchable. Bucky Balls 's an awesome app that lets you paint digitally using different styles and brushes, and it was included on my test version of Surface Go. While it's not perfect, you can still learn how to use it.
