1. Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) - Female
- In contrast to men, women's abdominal cavities are more prone to infections and inflammation since the reproductive canal exposes them to the outside world. It is possible for germs to enter through the vagina and go up the uterine tubes, inflaming them. Repeated instances of inflammation can block the uterine tubes and cause infertility.

- In much simpler words, Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is an infection of the female reproductive organs. It most often occurs when sexually transmitted bacteria spread from your vagina to your uterus, fallopian tubes or ovaries.

Signs : The signs and symptoms of pelvic inflammatory disease can be subtle or mild. Some women don't experience any signs or symptoms. As a result, you might not realize you have it until you have trouble getting pregnant or you develop chronic pelvic pain -subtle and mild means is hindi masyado kaagad napapansin or nalalaman kung may ganto ka which is bad talaga and kailangan mo mag-ingat.

The question is - Is it curable?
Yes, if PID is diagnosed early, it can be treated. However, treatment won’t undo any damage that has already happened to your reproductive system. The longer you wait to get treated, the more likely it is that you will have complications from PID - so advisable po na mag-consult sa mga professionals.

2. Prostate Cancer - Male
- Like most other forms of cancer, prostate cancer begins when cells in the prostate gland begin to grow out of control, threatening to spread across other areas of the body.

Which part is affected? Commonly, the prostate is affected.
What does prostate do? The prostate is a walnut-sized gland that is responsible for making some of the fluids found in semen which is important in human reproduction.

In simpler words, Prostate cancer is cancer that occurs in the prostate.

Symptoms: Prostate cancer may cause no signs or symptoms in its early stages - di pa muna masyadong kita in its early stages pa lang

Prostate cancer that's more advanced may cause signs and symptoms such as:
Trouble urinating
Decreased force in the stream of urine
Blood in the urine
Blood in the semen
Bone pain
Losing weight without trying
Erectile dysfunction

Survival rate: Fortunately, prostate cancer is eminently treatable, with an expected five-year survival rate of 98%, according to the ACS.

Is it curable? There are many ways to cure it. But you need to go for screening first - example: Rectal Examination- process where a doctor: Urologist check your prostate by inserting a finger. After nun you fo on the tests na - example: Ultrasound - same process lang pero may somethign an iba namang iniinsert.

3. Uterine Fibroids - Female
- Sometimes it is possible that tumors grow in the muscular wall of the uterus; however, these tumors are not cancerous. They are called uterine fibroids and can cause increased urination, pain in the lower back, heavy bleeding and pain during the menstrual period, pain during intercourse, miscarriages and infertility.
- It is also called "leiomyomas" or myomas and also appeared during childbearing years

In women who have symptoms, the most common signs and symptoms of uterine fibroids include:

Heavy menstrual bleeding
Menstrual periods lasting more than a week
Pelvic pressure or pain
Frequent urination
Difficulty emptying the bladder
Constipation
Backache or leg pains

Why does this happen? - Genetic changes, Hormones or other growth factors. Substances that help the body maintain tissues, such as insulin-like growth factor, may affect fibroid growth.
Is it curable? There are no best treatment option yet but it is suggested to practice "Watchful Waiting" - Watchful waiting (also watch and wait or WAW) is an approach to a medical problem in which time is allowed to pass before medical intervention or therapy is used. During this time, repeated testing may be performed.

4. Testicular cancer - Male
- Though rare compared to other types of cancer, testicular cancer is the most common form of cancer among males between ages 15 and 35, usually occurring in at least one testicle.
We all know naman na ang testicle produces male sex hormones and sperm for reproduction.

Signs: Signs and symptoms include a heavy feeling in the scrotum (bag of skin under the penis), a lump or enlargement in either testicle and a sudden collection in the scrotum.

Curable?: Testicular cancer treatment often involves surgery and chemotherapy. Which treatment options are best for you depends on the type of testicular cancer you have and its stage. Your health care team also considers your overall health and your preferences. For example -No jokes intended, it is also better option na ipatanggal mo na lang yung isa since may isa pa naman.

5. Ovarian Cancer - Female
- This type of cancer starts within the ovaries and can propagate inside the pelvis and abdomen. Some symptoms are constipation, regular urination urges, pain in the pelvic region, loss of weight and abdominal bloating. The chances of occurring are higher in people who have a family history of Lynch syndrome, breast or ovarian cancer.
- In simpler words, It is a cancer that affects or grows particularly on the ovaries and may malaki raw ang risk pag may history sa pamilya nyo na nagkaroon na nito. And additional info lang na may tatlong uri ng sakit na ito.

Symptoms : Signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer may include:

Abdominal bloating or swelling
Quickly feeling full when eating
Weight loss
Discomfort in the pelvic area
Fatigue
Back pain
Changes in bowel habits, such as constipation
A frequent need to urinate

Cures: There's no sure way to prevent ovarian cancer. But there may be ways to reduce your risk:

Consider taking birth control pills. Ask your doctor whether birth control pills (oral contraceptives) may be right for you. Taking birth control pills reduces the risk of ovarian cancer. But these medications do have risks, so discuss whether the benefits outweigh those risks based on your situation.

Discuss your risk factors with your doctor. If you have a family history of breast and ovarian cancers, bring this up with your doctor. Your doctor can determine what this may mean for your own risk of cancer. You may be referred to a genetic counselor who can help you decide whether genetic testing may be right for you. If you're found to have a gene change that increases your risk of ovarian cancer, you may consider surgery to remove your ovaries to prevent cancer.
