Kings of Leon Post Card Review
The music business is full of phonies and charlatans, yet Kings of Leon aren't one of them. They genuinely believe that they are artists and their songs have substance.

They're also a band that believes in taking creative chances. They've been known to take their time in the studio, and that has paid off as a result.


While a good portion of their earlier work was very much rooted in the Southern rock genre, their most recent albums have seen them branch out to other musical styles. Their latest album, When You See Yourself, is an example of this, as it features influences from the Nashville scene, which includes bands like Lady Antebellum and Mumford & Sons.

It's a great album, but it does not represent a major shift in style for the band as a whole. It still maintains their signature Southern rock sound, but the band has adapted this to suit the modern day audience.

As a result, they are able to put out an album that is full of upbeat songs and ballads. This makes them a very popular group with fans, and they have also managed to retain their fan base in the years since their previous album.

If you're looking for a band that can put on a great show, Kings of Leon is the perfect choice. Their shows are full of energy, and they often throw in a number of covers of other songs to entertain the crowd as well.

The band drew an enthusiastic crowd to the AO Arena in Manchester for this first gig of their UK tour. They opened the show with their latest release, When You See Yourself. The band performed a mix of tracks that span their 19 year career, including Pyro, Crawl, and Milk, which is a sway-worthy tune that's sure to make you want to dance.

Despite being a bit slow in the opening set, the band soon got their groove on and they ripped through more than 20 songs of their long-established repertoire. They even managed to sneak in a couple of old favorites, such as Sex on Fire and Use Somebody.

Their performance was so strong, that I was tempted to leave the venue early and enjoy the rest of the show at the upcoming concert at the Saddledome in Manchester, but I stayed and I loved every minute of it!

This is the Kings of Leon that I know and love, so it's a great honor to have been able to witness their performance in the AO Arena. Kings of Leon Sweatshirt are a truly fantastic band and I hope they can continue to be a success for years to come.

After a long, hiatus they are finally back on tour and they have put out another excellent album. Hopefully this will be the first of many great albums to come from them!
