Bolt thrower merchandise is almost mythical. It is only available at the band's shows, and it is difficult to find it online unless you are very lucky. If you really want one, it would cost you a few hundred dollars and only in a very limited edition.
They are a mix of hardcore punk and death metal, and have been compared to Discharge, Slayer and Crass. They have a long history, and many fans who love their music. They have several albums, some EPs and live recordings.
They released their first album on the vinyl solution label in 1988. In 1990, they were signed to Earache Records.
Many members have changed over the years. In 1997, Karl Willetts decided not to sing and instead let Dave Ingram from Benediction take his place. In boltthrowermerch , the band released their fifth studio album Mercenary. It is a slower-paced version than their previous albums. This was also the first Bolt Thrower album without Karl Willetts as the lead singer.
