Vinyl Release by Warmaster - The Bolt Thrower
Bolt Thrower's 1990 album "Warmaster" has been long in the making and is now available for purchase on vinyl. This remaster has been mastered using the 'FDR' process - Full Dynamic Range mastering, which gives the music its nuances.
"Warmaster" is one of the best albums ever recorded by Bolt Thrower, and if you haven't heard this album then you are missing out on some of the most brutal and fast death metal that has ever been written. This is best illustrated in the title track. It kicks off with a Slayer-esque'mosh’ riff. Then it gets percussion. This is the type of riff that the late-90s' metallic hardcore metal bands would love and the band's blasting sound tighter than ever.
Noel Summerville has remastered 'Warmaster', the same mastering engineer that mastered the original 90's version. The music roars like never before thanks to the remastering.
Bolt Thrower - Mercenary Digital Audio CD
Bolt Thrower's Mercenary was a slower and less grind-oriented record than their other two. It is a good album. bolt thrower merch was produced by Colin McKay and featured the same art as the band's 2nd and 3rd albums, which were based on artwork from Games Workshop's Warhammer 40k game.
In 1998 the lineup was changed. Karl Willetts went back to singing and Martin Kearns replaced him at the drums. They toured Europe, the US and released an EP in 2000.
