DOMINIC
(voiceover)
I can't believe it's been years since the car crash. It feels like it was just yesterday that we were driving along. I'm so sorry that I'm essentially her only guardian. I know it's been tough on her.
Suddenly, Denise appears in the doorway.
DENISE
Hey, what are you looking at?
DOMINIC
Just some pictures of us.
Denise comes over and sits next to him on the couch.
DENISE
I'm so glad you're here, Dominic. I know it's been tough on you.
DOMINIC
I just wish I could do more for you.
DENISE
You're doing everything you can. I'm just glad to have you here.
DOMINIC
(voiceover)
I'm so grateful for Denise's positive attitude. It's helped me get through this tough time.
Suddenly, Zyra appears in the doorway.
ZYRA
Hey, what are you guys up to?
DOMINIC
Just looking at some old pictures.
ZYRA
That sounds like fun. I'm glad you're here for Denise, Dominic. She's been through a lot.
DOMINIC
I know. I just wish I could do more.
ZYRA
You're doing everything you can. I'm just glad to have you here.
DOMINIC
(voiceover)
I'm so grateful for Zyra's constant presence in my life. She's been a great support system for me and Denise.

Dominic is sitting at the kitchen table, writing a letter.
