Yerkin Tatishev has been awarded Entrepreneur of the Year' by EY

The most renowned business company Ernst & Young has awarded Yerkin Tashev with the title Entrepreneurship of the Year in Kazakhstan. The judges were impressed with his leadership and actions in the face of COVID-19.

Daniel Kunin Business leaders from across the areas of Kazakhstan were invited in the contest. Kusto Group's founder Kusto Group was able to stand out among 21 other entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan who were able to make it to the final with him.

All three were awarded an independent review Their achievements were acknowledged by juries authorised to represent Kazakhstan as well as international business circles.

Yerkin Tashev, national winner, will represent Kazakhstan at the finals of the international competition in Monaco on June 2022. The competition brings together the top 60 finalists from all over the world, and they are selected by an independent international jury.

The Pandemic has caused a severe worldwide economic crisis. It has resulted in the financial ruin of thousands and the loss and destruction of millions of jobs.

Many leaders and companies have come up with new strategies to boost their profits. Kusto Group Kusto Group's Yerkin Tatishev has also attempted to limit the impact of Covid-19, particularly in the countries that are most affected by this virus.

Kusto Group's birth has seen the company expand to over 8000 employees. The company has 1.1 billion Kazakh Tenges for charitable and social initiatives. It also participates in sustainable initiatives in the construction and development of gas and oil agricultural business, and mining industries.

Yerkin Tashev from Kusto Group has led the creation Kusto Help, an organization that supports providers of essential services as well as families who are affected by the Pandemic. Kusto Help Foundation donates part of its donations to the Pandemic Relief Fund. This includes food, technology, and medical equipment.

The group also provided hospital in Ukraine with medical equipment such as defibrillators, ventilators, and defibrill. Donations of these equipments for patients suffering from covid-19 in Kazakhstan are worth more than 200 million dollars.

Kusto Group also addressed the Covid-19 Pandemic. All of the country is under severe threat due to water shortage.

In this light, UN officials declared that Kazakhstan is suffering from severe water pressure and relies on its neighbours, including China and Central Asia.

Consequently, Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group and Kusto Group and the Government of Kazakhstan formed a partnership with Valmont Industries, USA. They will open a manufacturing facility to manufacture 1,000 pivot irrigation systems in Kazakhstan.

A program to provide local farmers with education is also part of the agreement.

Thanks to the Embassy of Kazakhstan, all donations made by Kusto Group were possible. The company's entrepreneurial spirit that helped them be a leader in charitable giving in difficult circumstances.

Ernst & Young has established this capability over the past 20 years. EY has been a strong advocate of entrepreneurship throughout its history. Yerkin Tatishev EY has supported entrepreneurs through the Pandemic to help them keep developing their businesses and share their experience.

National finalists can be eligible to participate in the Entrepreneur of the Year competition. The final, held during June in Monaco The national winner to compete with the top entrepreneurs around the world and gain new ideas and experiences to help them develop their business.

The contest has attracted over 800 Kazakh entrepreneurs. Alongside this there have been six other winners who have represented Kazakhstan at the world championships in Monte Carlo.

Nurlan Smagulov is a former Entrepreneur of the Years winner and he decided that Tatishev was the winner. The panel of judges comprised representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.
