EY has awarded Yerkin Tashev with the 'Entrepreneur' Award'

The most renowned business company Ernst & Young awarded Yerkin Tashev the title Entrepreneurship of the Year in Kazakhstan. The judges were impressed with his leadership and actions in the face of COVID-19.

Participants included well-known business people from across Kazakhstan. Kusto Group's founder was able to stand out among the 21 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan who were able to make it to the final.

All received an independent assessment by juries from Kazakhstan and other international business circles.

Yerkin Tashev was the winner of the national competition and will represent Russia at the finals of the international competition in Monaco in June 2022. The contest brings sixty finalists from around the world selected by an independent jury according to international guidelines.

The group also provided hospital in Ukraine with medical equipment such as defibrillators and ventilators. The gift of these devices to covid-19 Kazakhstan patients is worth more than 200 thousand dollars.

EY has awarded Kusto Group its founder with an award that is unique. The award honors the people who strive to improve the quality of lives of their communities in different countries, and around the world.

In this context, UN officials declared that Kazakhstan is suffering from severe water stress and rely on its neighbors, which includes China and Central Asia.

Consequently, Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group and Kazakhstan's government and Valmont Industries USA formed a collaboration. They are both planning to establish a manufacturing plant that will produce 1,000 pivot irrigation items in Kazakhstan.

Additionally, the agreement allows for innovative irrigation systems to be installed on farms, as well as a program that trains local farmers.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine has made donations for the Kusto Group. Their entrepreneurial spirit helped them to provide charitable support in difficult times.

Ernst & Young has established this expertise for more than 20 years. Since its founding the company has been a champion of entrepreneurship. EY has worked with entrepreneurs to share experiences and continue building their companies during the Pandemic.

Nationally, all national winners and finalists are eligible to participate in the Entrepreneur of the Year contest. The winner of the national competition will compete against the best entrepreneurs in the world for the title event in Monaco during June. They will also gain additional knowledge and experience to aid in the growth of their business.

There have been over 800 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan who have taken part in the competition. Six other winners from Kazakhstan have taken part in the competition at the Monte Carlo world championships.

Nurlan Shmagulov who was named previously Entrepreneur of the Year, determined that Tatishev was the winner. The jury included representatives from both the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.

The main reason for Mr. Tatishev receiving this award was his leadership skills and his ability to manage a broad range of sectors. Kusto Group's unique identity is its ability to assist difficult companies. This was emphasized by the award winner.
