Eric Church Blankets Fans For a Special One-Of-A-Kind Show
Church as a response to a cancellation of the show last weekend and in response, offered to put on a unique one-of-a kind show for anyone who had previously bought tickets.


Eric Church is known for his unrelenting creative spirit and unstoppable touring. He's always believed in taking risks. This is a mindset he's adopted and that is evident on his latest album, Heart & Soul. The album is different from album in his catalog and features 24 tracks that blur the lines between soul and country, Bible Belt Funk, the renegade rock and roll and even renegade renegade rock and rolling.


The Making of Heart & Soul


For the making of Heart & Soul, Church and producer Jay Joyce retreated to Banner Elk, North Carolina. They constructed a recording studio inside an eatery, and brought in rotating groups of songwriters and musicians to the area every few days.


They wrote the songs that were to become Heart & Soul's three-part, three album format. This is Church at his most authentic and honest. It's a set of timeless tunes that display the boundless imagination that has defined his career.



From "Heart of the Night" From "Heart Of The Night" to "Russian Roulette," the music is reminiscent of the edgy energy that is Bruce Springsteen, an influence on the album that is significant in both the compositions and performances. Songs like these, which blur the boundaries between soul, country, and renegade rock, show Church's desire to push his own boundaries and push the boundaries of his music.


Church is now living in Banner Elk, Montana with Katherine and their dog Boone. It's closer to home than the place he's been.


He spends plenty of time in the outdoors. On Sundays, he and his family fish on a small lake near the cabin. He and Boone are awestruck by the peace and quiet, and the chance to get away from the distractions of the city.


It is a lovely place to be in spring and summer. It's also an ideal spot to relax and spend time with family and friends.


Being able to spend this time with his family is an enormous source of inspiration for him and his music, which frequently reflect the everyday things that bring people together. His passion for outdoor sports including boating and fishing and fishing, is evident in the lyrics.


Each of his albums is driven by this passion for the great outdoors. He grew up fishing in Western North Carolina with his grandfather and continues to follow the same passion. He has even constructed his own wooden boat, equipped with a trolling motor and a fishing rod, which he can take out to the lake.


He's also a huge supporter of the UNC Tar Heels college team. The team's fan base was notified last week, informing them that his San Antonio show was being delayed so that he could attend the UNC-Duke game with his family. This has become an essential part of his work and a sign of how much he loves his fans.
