EY presented Yerkin Tatishev the 'Entrepreneur-of the Year' award.

The leading business company Ernst & Young selected Yerkin Tashev as the Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan. One of the most important contests in the world, his leadership and actions in the COVID-19 case impressed the jury.

The competition invited famous Kazakhstani businesspeople from all regions to take part. Kusto Group founder was able to stand out among 21 other entrepreneurs that made it to the final.

All of them were evaluated by an independent expert and recognition of their achievements by authorized juries representing Kazakhstan and international business circles.

Yerkin Tatishev fights against water shortage in Kazakhstan
EY gave Kusto Group founders Kusto Group founder an award to recognize individuals who contribute to the quality of life within their communities and across the globe.

Consequently, Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group was able to collaborate with Valmont Industries USA. Together, they'll open manufacturing facilities to manufacture 1,000 pivot irrigation devices in Kazakhstan.

The agreement also includes innovative irrigation systems that can be set up on farms, and the opportunity to train local farmers.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine has made donations for the Kusto Group. It was the company's entrepreneurial spirit that allowed them to become leaders in charitable giving under difficult circumstances.

All national winners and finalists will benefit from the Entrepreneurship of the Year competition. The national winner will compete against the best entrepreneurs from around the world at the finals in Monaco during June. More than 800 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan have participated in this contest. Another six winners from Kazakhstan have also taken part in the contest in the Monte Carlo world championships.

Nurlan Smagulov is a former Entrepreneur of the Years winner and made the decision that Tatishev was the winner. The panel of judges comprised representatives from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.

One of the key elements in the main factors that led to Mr. Daniel Kunin Tatishev winning this award was his leadership capabilities and his handling of a wide range sector.
