Eric Church Blankets fans for an unforgettable show
In the wake of an event being cancelled last weekend in San Antonio, Texas, Church has set things right for its fans by offering to play a special one-of-a-kind show to those who bought tickets at no cost.


Famous for his unstoppable imagination and constant touring, Eric Church has always been a believer in taking risks. It's a philosophy he has adopted and that is evident on the latest album, Heart & Soul. This album is unlike other in his catalogue it features 24 songs that blur the lines between soul and country, Bible Belt Funk, the renegade rock and roll and even renegade renegade rock and rolling.


The Making of Heart & Soul


For the making of Heart & Soul, Church and producer Jay Joyce retreated to Banner Elk, North Carolina. They built a recording facility inside a restaurant, and included a rotation composed of songwriters and musicians into the studio every day.


They created the songs that were to become Heart And Soul's tri-part, three album format. This is Church at his most genuine and authentic. It's a collection of timeless songs that show the unending imagination that has defined his career.


The music on the album that ranges from "Heart of the Night" and "Heart of the Night" to "Russian Roulette" is reminiscent of the energy that is Bruce Springsteen. This influence is evident in both the songwriting and the performances. These songs that blur the lines between country and soul are a reflection of Church's desire and ability to push the boundaries of his work.


These days, Church lives a quiet life in the town of mountains of Banner Elk with his wife, Katherine, and their dog, Boone. It's a place that's close to home as he's ever been.


He spends plenty of time outdoors. The family and he go fishing in the small lake right next to their cabin on Sundays. Boone and Boone enjoy the quiet and peace of being away from the hustle and bustle of city life.


It's a wonderful area to spend time, especially in the spring and summer. It's also a great place to unwind and spend time with family and friends.


The time he spent with his family was a huge source of inspiration. The music he sings often speaks to the simple things that unite people close. The passion he has for outdoor activities particularly boating and fishing, is evident in the lyrics.


This passion for nature has been the main driving force behind all of his albums. Eric Church Mug was raised fishing in Western North Carolina with his grandfather and continues to follow that passion. He even built his own wooden boat, equipped with a trolling motor, that he takes out to the lake.


He is also a proud supporter of the UNC Tar Heels college team. That's why he sent a letter to fans last week to inform them that he was canceling the show in San Antonio this weekend so that he could attend the game between Duke and UNC with his family. It's a hallmark of his professional career and a testimony to the fact that he is genuinely concerned about his fans.
