Dead Meat, an Irish low-budget zombie film, is inspired by George Romero's Dawn of the Dead films. It's a fun and entertaining film that is well worth your time if horror/gore flicks are in your budget.

Conor McMahon, director, is a competent filmmaker in many aspects. All the actors deliver excellent performances. Dead Meat Socks does run the risk of being too clichéd or corny in certain areas. One example is the first section where Marian Araujo is shown in the farmhouse while David Muyllaert walks across the countryside, trying not to get bitten by zombies. While this isn't a particularly original scene, it makes for dull viewing.

Helena, a pedestrian who had just been run over, stands up and walks away. Helena fights off zombies, finds someone with an mini-bus, and then heads to a cottage in which more zombies attack. Dead Meat T-shirt is predictable, and unnecessarily gory. Dead Meat, for all its flaws and all the fun it offers, is well worth watching. Although it isn’t a masterpiece in any way, it is a far better film than most zombie films that you’ll see at the cinemas. It's a film everyone should see!
