Loss of life is always hard - especially on family members who are left behind. Many people take a while to process the news and may go through a grieving period. If you have recently experienced death of a loved one, then you are probably suffering through emotional pain in response to your loss. Grief is a very common emotion experienced by people of all ages. Every year in America, 4% of children younger than the age of 15 lose a parent through death. What is not cheap is keeping a convicted killer alive for thirty years and paying hundreds of expensive lawyers millions of dollars to plead his case in endless appeals while he writes children's books and eventually dies of cancer or old age. When people try to make you feel outraged at the "cost of executions", that is what they're really talking about.


Often the death card is a spiritual one. It draws attention to an inner battle, or an external situation that requires us to grow and mature in our spiritual selves. Lessons need to be learnt. The death card gives us permission to learn them and offers us an opportunity to undergo a process of letting go mixed with greater inner comprehension. Grief is vital, as it brings us closer to understanding ourselves and to what we want and do not want in our inner and outer worlds.


But the long-term effects are separation. DEATH severs processes that have begun within you. Households; relationships; entire futures can be severed by DEATH. Worse, if you continue to indulge, DEATH will take you down a path that ends in spiritual DEATH; complete and utter separation from GOD for eternity; otherwise known as Hell. Satisfying desires with DEATH can lead to the ultimate Death of one's soul.

Remember, those who have had a near death experience, tend to lose their fear of death. They see death in a different light than other people. The more you come to terms with death, the less anxious and afraid you'll be. Death is a journey to be understood, not feared. understood and embraced in a healthy, matter-of-fact way.
