The latest update from Supercell has brought with it the infamous Hammer Jam event, which is a limited time festival in which all Home Village building and upgrade costs are reduced by 50%. While this event is often viewed as a marketing gimmick, it actually has some significant ramifications for Clash of Clans fans.
Hammer Jam typically signals the arrival of a major update, and the 2021 event is set to last two weeks. Depending on how the developers choose to break things up, this could mean a potential April release of Town Hall 14 – the highly anticipated level cap update.
What is a Hammer Jam Pack?
There are a few Hammer Jam Packs to choose from, including the 3X value pack which can be purchased for $22 and gives you 20000000 Gold, 20000000 Elixir, 1 Book of Building that instantly finishes any upgrade timer, 2 Builder Potions that make your builders work 10 times faster for an hour and 1 Hero regeneration potion.
The 5X value pack on the other hand is a bit more expensive at $11, but also provides you with 2000000 Dark Elixir, 2 Builder Potions and 1 Book of Building that makes your Laboratories 24 times faster for an hour.
Is it possible that the hammer jam event will actually herald the upcoming Town Hall 15 update?
While it’s still unclear what Supercell has in store for the community, we do know that a few key changes are coming to the game this fall. We already know that the Barracks system is set to change for the better, and it’s entirely possible that a number of other small but oh-so-important changes will be made in the near future. As we’ve written about before, the upcoming October update will be the first to feature a significant number of changes to the game’s core gameplay, and we’ll be keeping an eye out for anything that might be worth checking out.
