This is another book in the Elf Help Books for Kids series which helps parents help their children deal with the painful realities of life and loss. This book can be read alone by older children but be ready to answer questions they may have. The book is also a great read aloud book for parents to read to the grandchildren left behind. The elf character and illustrations softens the text and helps the child to relate to what is being said. It allows good opportunities for the parent to open lines of communication about family values, the love shared with the grandparent, and good ways to remember the loved one.


Murder does not just alter the life of the person killed, it alters the lives of the family members as well. No, killing the criminal will not bring their loved one back, but it may make them feel better. It would make me feel better. I could not imagine spending the rest of my life in a cell. I often wonder what right we have to do this to another person, especially when you remove god from the equation. If we are all just randomly here than what right does any one person have to keep another from living their life to the fullest? This would lead us to a anarchist society, though, and you cannot have any kind of order in a world like that.

Saves you time. After a death in the family, you have a lot to do and cope with - hiring an attorney can save a lot of time and stress as they take over the legal day-to-day tasks.

It is all speculation as to how and what the realm beyond death is like.There are no verifiable evidence of a dead person coming back to this life to share a glimpse, if that, of what life is after death. Contact with those who passed on are all based on personal experience, some are conducted at seance, where a medium claims the uncanny ability to make contact with those who are supposedly in the other realm.

While this is a game, it's also what to do when conversation dies. Think about some subject someone mentioned, and think of something else to talk about. As an example: someone spoke of a vacation to Hawaii. When the conversation wanes, ask yourself what Hawaii makes you think of: pineapples, the TV show Hawaii-Five-O, surfing? You can then bring up this other subject.

Do nothing. Sit and cry. Don't feel guilty about it, as this is an important step in healing. Conversely, if you do not feel like crying, don't beat yourself up about it. Everyone experiences grief differently.

Those who are near death wonder if God really exists and if they are acceptable to him. Those who have obeyed the gospel of Christ and have been faithful and studied the Bible know the answer to that. They have the calm assurance that all is well with their soul. If you are unfamiliar with the teachings of the sacred book, you need to go to a Bible believing church and attend classes to be ready for your eventual death.
