The trees stretch their great limbs in search of the vanishing Sun obscured by the mass of clouds. Birds whistle indifferently to the skies. Squirrels chatter angrily to the wind. Small rodents scurry about the forest floor. Two deer graze in a clearing. All is peaceful, if noisy.


Now that I've made that clear, I can reveal to you that you, a Spirit, are involved in a power struggle. In fact, it is more than a mere struggle; it's an intense WAR. This war is quite literally the battle of your human existence and it is waged between two powerful spiritual forces that are related, as I mentioned above: Death and LIFE. Since you've chosen to read this article, the latter of the two is likely winning the fight. But pay close attention; understanding the relationship between these two forces can potentially save your LIFE.



It is heart wrenching to watch the fear cross a loved ones face if they have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. The tragedy is compounded, because again the little time that they have left is spent in fear of drawing their last breath.

Perhaps most shocking of all, Jesus told them that if they believe in his divinity, if they accepted the fact that the only path to salvation was through Jesus Christ, the son of God, "I tell you the truth, if anyone keeps my word.(long drum roll here). he will never see death!" (John 8:51) What? "Did they hear him right?" Yes. Jesus told them that his divinity qualified him to be their Savior, if they would believe, confess their sins and accept his gift of righteousness, they would never see death.


Some people have visited a memorial society and have chosen their final resting place and have paid the money and all you have to do is walk in and put the final touches on the obituary, service and reception afterward. Others have done nothing of the sort and don't even want to think about what to do when someone (including themselves) dies.

OMake a memory book of blank pages that friends and family can fill in for a valued keep-sake. Ask people you see at visitation or at the luncheon afterwards to write their thoughts and memories. Make a pretty cover for it or use a fun photograph.

If a family member will be living there, then the decedent's mail should be kept in one place for the executor's review. If no one will be living there for the time being, the post office should be notified to hold or forward the mail so that it doesn't pile up in the mailbox. That's an open invitation to burglars or mischief makers.


To create threads on a smooth shaft select a die that just smaller than the size of the shaft and a couple of drops of oil on the die blades and work the die down the shaft. As with the tap a half turn should be followed by a quarter turn back to prevent the die from becoming clogged.
