Fear Of Death: A Different Outlook

Humans share two realities with each other and all other living things--birth and death. I know it's been the church's traditional teaching for eons that both dying and death are the consequences of the first couple's rebellion in the Garden of Eden. But there's an alternative perspective I've written about in one of my books. It is a perspective far more consistent with Judeo-Christian teachings and certainly more consistent with nature and biology.



Maybe there were some conversations you never had the opportunity to have or you never told someone how much you cared. Maybe your last projects weren't done or your autobiography wasn't finished. Make peace with your final words through your message and tell all about your vision and purpose of good intentions. Say what you have to say to whomever regarding whatever.

The only reality is that the life which leaves the body on death will never come back, Our mind should be always aware that death may knock the door any time.


You need to find ways of expressing whatever you are feeling. Just remember that when it comes to losing someone close to you, there really is no "right" way to feel or respond. When someone close dies, people feel everything from guilt to anger. Find ways of channeling these feelings into positive hobbies and endeavors, whatever makes you feel better.

If the decedent was receiving social security benefits those should be stopped immediately. If the decedent's benefits keep getting paid, this can be a headache for the executor to repay them later. What's more, if there are death benefits payable to the decedent's dependents, those should get started as soon as possible.

When the authors of our Constitution drafted the language concerning cruel and unusual punishment, they lived in a world that still remembered hanging, beheading, drawing and quartering, burning at the stake, and disembowelment.all while the victim was alive and conscious. Watch the ending of the movie Braveheart (which depicts, but does not show, disembowelment); watch the movie The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc(which graphically depicts burning at the stake); watch the miniseries The Tudors (which graphically depicts beheading, disembowelment, and burning at the stake). Yes, they are just movies, but the forms of execution they depict were once sanctioned by the State. When the Framers banned "cruel and unusual punishment", it was those forms of execution they had in mind.

Therefore, it is irrational for the Christian to fear death when Christ himself has taken away the sting (fear) of death and promised us eternal life.
