The grief and sadness we feel after a pet dies can be tremendous. Healing can be a long and slow process. But we have to take action to help ourselves. Our pets would want us to be happy, wouldn't they? Absolutely!


Many people's fears are religious based. Whether we go to church or not, Heaven or Hell is a subject that is in our culture. The reason many convert to a religious faith is due to the fear of death. To obtain followers many religions target people's fear of death.


Crimes of passion will not be deterred by the death penalty. Crimes of passion will not be deterred by anything. When a man finds his wife with another man (or a woman finds her husband with another woman) and kills them both in a fit of rage, he or she is acting on rage alone. No amount of logic or persuasion is going to deter that murder. That person isn't thinking about prison or the death penalty or anything else. Only after the fact will that person think at all. In that case, the death penalty is not a deterrent.



Some people have visited a memorial society and have chosen their final resting place and have paid the money and all you have to do is walk in and put the final touches on the obituary, service and reception afterward. Others have done nothing of the sort and don't even want to think about what to do when someone (including themselves) dies.

One day, I was shopping at a grocery store and I saw a garden store with roses. I stopped and smelled about 20 varieties, finding roses that were very familiar to me. The next day I went for a walk and discovered a neighborhood with roses blooming and hanging over the fences. Just as people had stopped to smell the roses in my garden, I stopped and smelled the roses in my neighbor's yard.

When our physical bodies can no longer keep up with the demands of this time space reality, that which defines us as physical will cease to be able to function. However, at that precise point in time, the life source which is our essence will be released from the body and will ultimately join like energies.


I am humbled by the knowing that I am an energy being first. Because if this is true, I have a lot to look forward to even long after I have left this physical time space reality. And so do you.
