Loss of life is always hard - especially on family members who are left behind. Many people take a while to process the news and may go through a grieving period. If you have recently experienced death of a loved one, then you are probably suffering through emotional pain in response to your loss. Grief is a very common emotion experienced by people of all ages. Every year in America, 4% of children younger than the age of 15 lose a parent through death. With such dramatic ratio before us, it is only logical to find a way to deal with such a tragic loss.

You can use the dies to do cards, scrap books, picture frames, make designs on candles and much more. There's dies come cut in the shape of flower petals, birds, butterflies, bears, dolls, bees, dragonflies, vines, snow flakes and alphabets to write names and stuff.


Restlessness caused my mother to pull at her clothing. She also responded to people who didn't exist. This is a result of a decrease in oxygen circulation to the brain and a change in the body's metabolism. We didn't interfere with her. We played soft music and read to her in order to have a calming effect. My mother also had conversations with her deceased sisters. She had one foot in each world. Focus was changing from this world to the next; she was losing their grounding to earth. We listened to whatever my mother said and accepted it calmly.

Also, judge your environment. How much LIFE and how much death do you have in your surroundings? How many items in your house promote LIFE and how many are of death? Is there a gun or illegal possessions in your home? What themes are the most prominent in the music you listen to? How about your close friends? How many death habits do they have? How about your job? Are the people you frequently associate with completely consumed by LIFE or DEATH?

Whatever we decide about cremation or burial, we will also want to have a funeral. A funeral is where you show your love and appreciation for your pet. Let's think of some ways in which Hamster was special. Maybe you'd like to draw a picture. When you are finished, we can have the funeral in the backyard. You can also put Hamster's favorite things in the box with him. You may collect flowers from the garden and some special stones to decorate the grave. A grave is what you call the place where you bury Hamster. Next week we can make a stepping stone with Hamster's name on it and place it on the grave. This afternoon, we can find pictures of Hamster and make a collage.

When using a die, you will notice that it is mounted to a die holder. Before getting started, secure the piece to be threaded in a vice. Then, turn the die counterclockwise to create the threads. Dies are versatile and can be used to thread metal rods, plastic rods, pipes and even wood rods.

I always suggest with the death card that life is presenting us with a deeper opportunity to see ourselves more clearly, i.e. to gain more clarity and to reach to a greater opportunity of obtaining joy and soulful connections. Remember, the more we master grief the more room there is for fun.

I am humbled by the knowing that I am an energy being first. Because if this is true, I have a lot to look forward to even long after I have left this physical time space reality. And so do you.
