Max runs away, because Killian stole Milah, so Max ends up in Neverland. She meets Peter Pan, and thinks he's a nice guy until he tells her what his plan is. A few years later, Baelfire ends up in Neverland, and talks with Max, she realizes he met her uncle, and finds out he's near the island, but has decided to do Pan's work for him, because he came hoping he would tell him where Max was. But it was no use. So then like eventually Baelfire escapes with Max, and then she didn't even know Hook was there. After a few weeks she ends back up in Neverland, because of Pan's shadow. But then it turns out, her uncle had already escaped and it was too late. She was trapped in Neverland again. Years passed in the land without magic, and eventually Henry is brought to Neverland. She realizes this is the boy Pan mentioned a long time a go. Then everything goes kind of like it did in the show, it turns out, he didn't need Henry's heart, it was true love's kiss, aka max and pan, but he didn't realize that until right before Rumpelstiltskin tried to kill him. Pan ends up "Dying" which leads into a sequel or continuing the story if there's not enough chapters for a sequel.
So like after, he "dies" a few years pass, and Max is 19. Peter finds her, and then bam it progresses from there bc he wasn't really dead and yeah. k lets do this.
