The pygmies were eradicate because they of their physical fetures. The small in size population grew a lot of unkind beliefs that led to a formal campaign to have them erased. Some justified there actions by the believing that the pygmies were less than them others thought that eating their flesh would give them power. When commiting such henious acts It's found that their intention was to dispose of the pygmys while stealing their power.



There were a great number of deaths that occured during the genocide. Out of the 30,000 Pygmies 10,000 were killed while 10,000 were displaced. They have been discribed as the forgotten victims of the genocide.
