In reading the two articles about Indigenous people in Canada, one about income disparities and the other about racism in the health care system, I have gained a deeper understanding of the issues faced by this population.

The article highlights the experience of a nurse who witnessed racist comments and actions towards Indigenous patients by fellow health care workers. Indigenous Peoples have historically faced discrimination in the health care system, resulting in lower health outcomes and a lack of trust in the system.
