Welche Studieninhalte erwarten mich?
Das Umwelttechnik Studium ist in der Regel als 1-Fach Bachelor Studiengang aufgebaut. Anschließend kannst Du im 1-Fach Masterstudiengang auch den Master of Sience Umwelttechnik absolvieren.
Die Grundlagen des Studiums bilden die Fächer Mechanik, Mathematik, Chemie und Physik. Je nach Universität beziehungsweise Hochschule findest Du im Umwelttechnik Studium verschiedene Schwerpunkte, die teilweise auch frei wählbar sind. An der Ruhr-Universität in Bochum beispielsweise kannst Du zwischen Fächern aus den Richtungen Nachhaltige Prozess- und Umwelttechnik oder Umweltplanung wählen. Der letztere Bereich orientiert sich dann mehr in Richtung Bauingenieurwesen, während Du im ersten Bereich mit typischen Fächern des Maschinenbaus konfrontierst wirst. Andere Hochschulen legen ihren Schwerpunkt wiederum stärker auf den Bereich Regenerative Energien. Dort findest Du Elemente aus der Fachrichtung Elektrotechnik. Während die Grundlagenfächer noch oftmals sehr theoretisch ausgerichtet sind, findest Du bei den vertiefenden Kursen verstärkt praktische Bezüge.
Im Masterstudiengang vertiefst Du zum einen die theoretischen Grundlagen. Außerdem spezialisierst Du Dich in Deinem Schwerpunktbereich weiter. Dort kommt auch der praktische Bezug nicht zu kurz.
