About the band


The American rock group Coheed and Cambria was formed in 1995 as Shabutie However, the group was later changed to Coheed and Cambria after drummer Nate Kelley left for personal reasons. The group incorporates elements of punk rock, progressive rock heavy metal, rock and post-hardcore into its music. The band is also renowned for incorporating the story of the Amory Wars into its music and lyrics, written by the lead singer Claudio Sanchez.


The group has released five studio albums, two live albums, and a variety of special-edition albums. The band has toured across the United States and Europe.


In essence, the band is a progressive rock band with an neo-prog tinge. They are well-known for using animated elements and video clips within the music videos they make.


Plan to Take Over the World is their first album. It's considered the best of their music genre. It was their first album featuring guitarists and vocalists, and it introduced a more mellow style of music to the group.


Claudio Sanchez, guitarist, and Matt Williams, drummer, formed the band. The band hails originated from Brooklyn, New York but they now live in Los Angeles.


Round Hill Music currently has their contract in place.


Vaxis II is their current album. It is a 13-track prog rock symphony. The album is a journey through their fictional world from the Amory Wars. The album is a conceptual album that is similar to their previous ones , with songs set in the near future.


This is a thrilling project for Coheed & Cambria. However, this is not the first time they have collaborated with another artist. They have previously collaborated with musicians from a range of genres, such as Jane's Addiction and The Misfits.


They have been appreciated for their diverse musical style and variety, with numerous critics describing the group as "a progressive rock powerhouse." The group has been awarded many awards and sold over 3 million albums around the world.

Vaxis II is the band's most recent release. It's a prog-rock symphony of large scale that will take the band's music up to a new level. It's got a more expansive sound than previous albums and contains tracks which Cambria and Coheed have not previously recorded.
