Professional Courses along with BBA
In the list of preferred graduation courses, BBA is one of the most liked courses by the students. But going just for a BBA in the present scenario might not help you to get through your dream job or a dream college for MBA, so in order to get a dream job, students can choose which professional courses along with BBA will be the best. You should build up your profile by doing some internships (full, part-time or summer), pursuing a professional degree or some short term diploma courses. The biggest problem faced by the students is which course is the best to be done along with BBA. Here are some of the options from which you can choose the course you wish to pursue along with BBA.

ACCA
Association Chartered Certified Accountants is a body providing accounting qualifications for many years. ACCA course is valid in over 180 countries and has more than 188000 members. Students can go for courses integrated with BBA as Bachelors in Business Administration in Finance and Accountancy. After completing ACCA a freshman can receive a package of around Rs. 8 to 10 lakhs. After fulfilling the guidelines and completing the exams provided by ACCA UK a student can apply for the following qualifications-

Diploma in Business and Accounting
Sc. in Applied Accounting
Sc. in Professional Accounting
CFP
Certified Financial Planner is a certified degree course in financial planning provided by the CFP Board, USA. The course is promoted, supported and preferred by organisations under BFS industries and is valid in around 24 countries across the globe.


The duration of this course is 1 year containing four exams for two hours each. A freshman who has just completed CFP can expect to get a salary of approximately Rs. 4 lakhs p.a. If a student wishes to pursue CFP in India then they can pursue it from ICICI Bank- Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune and Mumbai. Fees for this course is approximately Rs. 40000 and one can pursue this course just after completing their 12 standards.

CIMA
Chartered Institute of Management Accounting is a professional accounting association in UK and Ireland providing qualifications in management accounting for many years and is known as the largest management accounting body in the world. It has its validity in around 70 countries across the world and has over 6,50,000 members. CIMA association has its tie-up with the CWA (Cost and Work Accountant) institute in India. A freshman may expect to get a starting salary of around 5-6 lakhs p.a. The fees for the course is 2 lakhs + the tuition fees. There are no such eligibility criteria for joining the course.

Actuarial Science
A course designed to make experts who can assess the risk in insurance, finance and other sectors and professions based on scientific and mathematical methods. This course is also provided as a graduate and postgraduate degree by various universities across the globe.


Actuarial Science comprises 15 papers split into 4 levels, and the first level consist of 9 papers. A freshman may expect a salary of around 60-70 lakhs just after completing the whole course. The duration of this course is 8-9 years. One can also wish to drop the idea of completing the course after clearing the first 8 exams and may expect a salary of approximately 6-7 lakhs p.a. For pursuing this course one has to get 85% plus in 12 standards maths (compulsory) and the selection is through 4 levels of test and ACET- the eligibility exam.

Courses by NIIT
Among the few courses provided by NIIT, business analytics is one of the course. This is emerging as a new career opportunity for students because of the emergence of analytics as a business opportunity in the technology space. The course is offered as Post Graduate Certificate Course in Business Analytics.
