除了診療椅前方的電視外，當躺下來時，診療椅的正上方也設有一台電視。 隨時播放小朋友喜愛的卡通，使看診時也能放鬆心情、轉移注意力。 讓小朋友從小就不會害怕看牙齒，開開心心的回家。 此外，在拔掉嚴重蛀牙的牙齒後，若該長的永久齒還未達到萌發的位置時，要採行通稱"空間維持"的處理。 因牙科門診舒眠鎮靜術中會使用張口器，壓迫到嘴角可能 會造成嘴唇腫脹不舒適，可使用冰敷或護唇膏處理。
在門診舒眠鎮靜前，孩童若有特殊病史，如：心臟病、氣喘等...或食物藥物過敏史，請告知醫護人員。 門診舒眠鎮靜治療過程中，會使用機器監測孩 童血氧濃度，因儀器是夾在手指或腳趾的指甲 上，請勿塗抹指甲油，以免影響其監測數據。 ：此類病童通常是指 four 歲以下無理解力的兒童以及智能發展受阻的兒童，由於溝通效果有限，臨床上通常採取強制治療或鎮靜麻醉等方法。 若要吃點心，盡量集中在某些時段吃，因嘴巴長時間都是容易引起蛀牙的食物，那再怎麼努力刷牙，效果仍然不好。 主旨：110年度兒童牙科專科醫師甄審合格名單，合格人員許O志等27名(兒牙專醫字第396至425號)。 不要存有一次可以全部做好的想法，因為小朋友的耐心有限。

利用氟化物，使牙齒中的鈣離子和氟結合，增加牙齒對抗細菌產生的酸性物質的能力。 除此之外，在檢查過程中若有發現蛀牙，也可早期治療。 在乳牙萌出的時候，父母可用棉花棒或消毒纱布沾温水逐個牙齒擦洗。 當寶寶能漱口以後，每天可用淡鹽水、氟化鈉水漱口1次。 三歲以後的小孩要在家長的指導下養成刷牙漱口的習慣。
同時提供兒童及父母口腔衛生知識之教育及兒童口腔疾病之預防，如：防蛀封劑、全口塗氟。 對於極度不合作無法於門診治療者或是身心障礙不便於門診治療者（如：腦性麻痺、自閉症、智障者），亦提供全身麻醉之牙科治療。 贋復假牙科提供的治療包括口內不良補綴移除、固定式假牙、部分活動式假牙、全口活動式假牙、人工植牙贋復假牙、全口美觀改善及咬合功能重建。
