Death is but a hatch-mechanism that springboards our consciousness into the alter-realm. In death, we are reborn into another reality parallel to that which we are currently in. How or what defines our afterlife depends much on our perspective and thoughts right before we die from our current state. There exist a heaven and hell in our minds. And perhaps even many more so and incomprehensible to our minds yet. But to say that people of the book by default goes to such pre-conceptualized heaven or hell, where angels sing and play the harp, and fallen angels roast sinners is just as fictitious as the book itself.

If your not into scrap booking there are many more crafts you can use the Sizzix for. The ideas you can have for using your sizzix is only limited by your imagination. There are many supporting blogs to give you ideals for projects and to tell you where to find Sizzix dies and machines.

Is the old saying by Will Rogers the most likely reason for it. There's a sucker born every minute. What a cruel thing to say. But what else can explain it. And is this a true statement? We try to figure out what it is that makes us do the exact thing's that we know are wrong. Does that make us a sucker?

And the next day the sun rose and life went on. I did not die of disappointment. In fact, I felt much better after getting some rest. I slowly began to realize that, although that had been an exciting opportunity, there would be others that would come along. Nothing lasts forever not even disappointment. I wasn't told why the company changed their minds and went with someone else, but in the long run it doesn't matter. Everything works out just the way it is suppose to.

Keep in mind Jesus didn't say, "You will never die," he said, "You will never see death." When his opponents were trying to clarify what they had heard they changed it a bit by asking him, "Are you saying that if we keep your commandments we will never taste death?" They substituted the word 'taste' for 'see' but Jesus never corrected them.

For many at this stage in life, the loss of a dream causes severe pain which often leads to acts of desperation to reclaim the dream or create another dream. Divorcees will often claim that their spouse made them an expendable commodity as they tried to cope with the depression of facing the reality that they weren't going to be able to experience all they wanted in life. Those in mid-life are often overwhelmed by insurmountable debt or the unexpected dependency of their children. The promotion they always thought they would get isn't going to happen. The harsh reminder of their own mortality by the death of parents is difficult to handle. The loneliness of an empty nest can be depressing. The futility of investing decades in the life of a wayward child can be maddening.

When a Christian fears death he is being irrational. A Christian's belief in the deity of Christ eliminates his fear of death. Jesus didn't mince any words when it came to proclaiming that he was divine. The Jewish leaders came to him and asked, "Who do you think you are?" (John 8:53) "Aren't we right in saying that you are a Samaritan and demon-possessed?" Calling Jesus a Samaritan was the equivalent of using the "N" word in today's culture. Jesus was willing to risk his life to tell them the truth.

Since we don't know whether our own demise will be lengthy or sudden, let's think about the peace that we want our loved ones to be left with. Let us love more each day. Let us pay it forward at every opportunity. Let us take more time for family and friends. Let us see more positive than negative in people and in situations. Let us put down the cell phone for a moment to appreciate what we see and hear. Death is inevitable, but the peace we leave is eternal.
