Is Death Tragic? Should We Worry About Death?

The loss of a loved one leads you into very murky emotional waters. Your own life and belief systems are thrown to the wind when someone you know dies. You question yourself, your existence and the whole purpose of the universe. Death leaves its mark on us no matter how close or not-so-close we were with someone who just died.



Taps and dies are used to thread parts that are used everyday. The screws used to hang a mirror on your wall were likely threaded by die. Further, the screws holding a shelf together were also likely threaded by a die. Or think about all the bolts and screws that can be found in the car you drive every day. Those fasteners were threaded using taps and dies. There are many manufacturing processes that happen daily and create parts that we encounter throughout our every day lives. Using taps and dies to thread fasteners is just one of these processes.

And while some of the Apostle Paul's words have been abused in the making of religions, in fact he prayed that people would be able to "grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ" (Ephesians 3:18-19).

There are press brake dies called hemming dies. These are two stages in the process which will use an acute angle die, and it is followed by a flattening process. Curling dies are perfect for things that need to have a coiled edge. This could be similar to a tube and pipe forming dies but it is different. Larger tubes are formed wrapped around a mandrel.


Don't wait for tomorrow to come. If you have deprived yourself of laughter, laugh today. If you have failed to express your affection for someone, share your love today. If you have forgotten what it is like to stand with arms outstretched in the middle of green grass, smelling the scents that make you feel vibrant and alive, don't wait - do it today. For today is a certain reality. This moment in time. And if we fail to live life fully and our friend death taps us on the shoulder today, we will have wasted this opportunity to reach life's full potential.


It's a process and it takes time. Give yourself the right to feel each and every emotion that courses through you. The stronger your pain, most likely the stronger the love you felt for this person. But no matter where you are in this process, remember to be gentle on yourself and accept where you are each day. Some days will feel better than others. Some days will feel like you are back at ground zero. Accept and acknowledge where you are so that you can begin the process again of reaching for a better thought.

To use the death of a loved one as an excuse for weak behavior and to choose not to do the work necessary to improve one's life results in stagnation and eventual deterioration. Everyone can move on if she desires it. It is not always possible to understand the purpose of someone's death-maybe there isn't one. It is possible to achieve purpose working through the pain, however. Death is experienced differently by everyone feeling the loss. Making a life after losing a loved one is not easy, but it is imperative to find purpose from the pain in order to find joy in the future.
