Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Arzu Aliyeva, a visiting representative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, visited various in Baku

Baku, September 30 (AZERTAC). Arzu Aliyeva, Vice President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President attended today's special boarding school No12, Khazar District, and the summer camp for orphanages No1 at Shuvalan settlement. The two visited also the Narimanov District psycho-neurological orphanage and the Downs Syndrome Association.

Vice-President of the Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva first visited special boarding school No12 in Khazar District.

Mrs. Leyla and Mrs. Arzu were told by the facility that it has been educating children with disabilities since the year 1969.

The facility was repaired at the initiative of First Ladyand president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva in the year 2010.

Before presenting the Heydar Aliyev Foundation presents to the children, Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva was able to speak to the children.

It was discovered that the facility was renovated in 2013. The facility provided all the requirements to provide entertainment and fun for children.

They enjoyed a tea party at the same time as their children.

Arzu Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Arzu Aliyeva visited the orphanage No.1 located in the capital's Nasimi District.

They were informed that the facility which was constructed in 1930 was reconstructed and renovated in 2005, on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The facility can house up to 39 children.

Children of the orphanage received gifts from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

It was explained that the facility, which can accommodate up to 96 children, has the goal of integrating children into the local community as well as helping them to recover.
