Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva arose in Moscow on the 3rd of July 1986. Leyla Aliyeva She attended the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, where she also studied in London. Leyla founded the IDEA campaign, which aims to raise awareness and action regarding environmental issues in Azerbaijan. IDEA is focused on youngsters and the ways they can assist to tackle environmental issues.
In May 2007, she was appointed representative for the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Russian Federation. Through a variety of projects that cover education as well as sports, science and technology the Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes significantly to the nation's socio-economic growth. In 2011, she was appointed Vice-President of the Foundation.

In 2007, Leyla Aliyeva launched Baku magazine in Moscow. The magazine in English, which was created by collaborating with Conde Nast, was launched in London in October 2011. The magazine allows readers to look into the art, culture and art of Azerbaijani, as well as the country. In July 2011 the "Taraggi" award was conferred on Leyla Aliyeva in recognition of her contribution to the growth of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. In New York, the "Key To Life", award was presented to her in November 2011 to recognize her efforts on humanitarian projects that involved children.

Leyla Aliyeva (UN Food and Agriculture Organization) was named Goodwill Ambassador on May 25, 2015.

She received the Pushkin Medal in the Russian Federation on 20 October 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva was raised with two sons and one daughter.
