Almost every major tour has its own merch, and most of it is available online. Kanye West made it ubiquitous back in 2013; Rihanna, the Weeknd, Selena Gomez, Drake, and Beyonce followed suit. But while merch is a great way to make a fashion statement, its shelf life is short. It's why so many celebrities -- even Justin Bieber -- have turned to it as an e-commerce tool.

One of the best things about merch is that it's a universal currency, something fans can wear anywhere to show their enthusiasm.
