A Memorable Story About Bali Diving

In 1982 I worked as an English speaking tourist guide, but during my leisure time I discovered Italian language by my own method autodidact using English-- Italian; Italian-- English dictionary and grammar book. I spent about 2 hours a day to discover it, sometime early in morning, in the afternoon and sometime late in the evening. In October 1982 among my good friend who run a travel agent in Bali asked me to manage his customers, they were Italian and speak a little English. I am not a diver or a swimmer, I just rest on the boat and prepared the requirements when they go up. Was a fantastic day.

The second day Bli Monyoh brought his companion a clever scuba diver named Agung Toya, together with them some gun (precisely an arrow) unwound by a strong rubber band made from tire. Prior to living Sanur, Bli Monyoh laid an offering and perfumed incense in front of a temple and hoped to God. Along the road about one and a half our drive, he stopped several times for hoping where there are temples for God's luck, true blessing and safety. Even prior to touching the water he did so.

At 11.00 a.m. we finished our experience and the regional man was waiting us on the beach ready with his woods fire, chili, onions, garlic, coconut and salt oil. We grilled our fish in relax environment on the beach with great breeze of the ocean, than taken pleasure in a scrumptious gala lunch in cowboy style. Wow incredible, we truly celebrated and delighted in a great day.
